(1) CDF plans to make China Life a wholly-owned subsidiary
by end-2020.
(2) CDF anticipates to increase its profit to NT$30bn
three years later.
7.Cause of occurrence:
(1) According to page 18 of the tender offer prospectus
to acquire 25.33% of common shares of China Life Insurance
Co., Ltd. published in 2017, the offeror (CDF) shall make
China Life a wholly-owned subsidiary within
2 years and 6 months following completion of the tender
offer.
