1.Date of occurrence of the event:2021/01/20

2.Cause:The tender offer made by CDF to acquire 21.13% of common shares of China Life Insurance Co.,Ltd. (“China Life”) is subject to the condition of obtaining the FTC’s clearance of not prohibiting the combination between CDF and China Life. According to the press release published on the official website of the FTC on January 20, 2021, the FTC has resolved that the combination between CDF and China Life is not prohibited.

3.Countermeasures:The tender offer made by CDF to acquire common shares of China Life will continue until 3:30pm on February 2, 2021.Shareholders of China Life who intend to participate in this tender offer may complete the tendering procedure through counter, telephone, or electronic (internet) as stated in the tender offer prospectus.
