 (2)The payment date will be postponed to the following business day if
     the original business day is cancelled by the government due to
     typhoon or other reasons.
 (3)In the event that the change of total outstanding shares arising from
     the transactions of treasury shares, the new issue of restricted
     shares or the exercise of employee stock options etc.; it is proposed
     to authorize the Chairman to adjust the cash dividend per share on
     dividing the total cash dividend of common shares resolved in AGM by
     the outstanding shares as of the ex-dividend date.
(4)The common share cash dividends and preferred share dividends
    distributed to each shareholder will be rounded down to the nearest
    NT$1 (decimals are not taken into account); and the cash dividend
    less than one dollar originated from fractional shares will be
    recorded as other income of the Company.
